Top 40.

This is how I feel when I'm driving along and an awesome new song comes on the radio and I'm singing along at the top of my lungs with the windows down (read: with the AC blasting):

This is how I feel when I realize the song was new back in '99 and I’m listening to Gen X radio.

    1. I am going to admit publicly that it was The Backstreet Boys singing I Want It That Way. It's been 13 years and I still know all the words. Seems like I should be using my brain for other things!

  2. I love my N*Sync pandora station for that same reason - I can sing at the top of my lungs to every word of those songs!

  5. Haha...I know that feeling! We'll hear some song that I think was from about 5 years ago, and my husband will point out it was from 20 years ago. I never believe it! And we're big fans of I Want It That Way :)

    1. Isn't it so depressing when you realize 10 seconds in that the song is definitely not what the "young kids" are listening to these days?! And funny. It made me laugh out loud when it happened.

  7. Haha! I thought I was so cool when I was jiving to Beyonce - until I realized it was a song by Destiny's Child from 2000.
